I try not to discuss politics because I know people have strong views, but here is something that should not be ignored by any of us. Especially if we are Christians!
If you do not know President Obama has a strong stance on Isreal dividing their land creating a Palistine state, returning Isreal to it's 1967 borders. It is appears as a direct result of his public stance the US has faced the worse and most costly natural disasters this year in recorded history.

WASHINGTON — Nature is pummeling the United States this year with extremes.
Unprecedented triple-digit heat and devastating drought. Deadly tornadoes leveling towns. Massive rivers overflowing. A billion-dollar blizzard. And now, unusual hurricane-caused flooding in Vermont.
If what's falling from the sky isn't enough, the ground shook in places that normally seem stable: Colorado and the entire East Coast. On Friday, a strong quake triggered brief tsunami warnings in Alaska. Arizona and New Mexico have broken records for wildfires.
Total weather losses top $35 billion, and that's not counting Hurricane Irene, according to the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration. There have been more than 700 U.S. disaster and weather deaths, most from the tornado outbreaks this spring.
The Bible is clear that God promised the land of Isreal to the Jews and does not want it divided. Know and understand when God promises you something it's yours for you and no one else.
Joel 3: 1: For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2: I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
God also promised Abram (the father of many nations) on in particular Israel!
Gen 12 1:3
The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.
2“I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great,and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
So if we as a nation stand with Israel and not against them and turn back to God he will bless us (the US) once again!
2 Chron 7:14
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
